Former Doncaster Rovers goalkeeper Gary Woods is having a trial with Bradford City.

Rovers released Woods at the end of last season despite making 49 appearances for the club as they won the League One title.

Woods made his debut for Bradford in their 4-1 win at Irish league side Athlone Town on Tuesday night.

The 22-year-old, who spent four years at Keepmoat, has joined up with former Doncaster Rovers goalkeeping coach Lee Butler.

The goalkeeper could line up against Rovers when the two sides meet in a pre-season friendly at Bradford on July 27th.
