Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson feels his side are not getting the rub of the green after they threw away more points.
Doncaster conceded a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Oldham Athletic, this coming just seven days after conceding a 97th minute winner at Oxford United and Ferguson feels his side are having no luck.
‘It’s a disappointing result, a really disappointing result,’ Ferguson told BBC Radio Sheffield.
‘Again we’ve thrown away two points right at the death.
‘At the moment we’re just not getting the rub of the green, I don’t care what anyone says watching our performances.
‘We are just not getting the rub of the green – it happens.”
Andy Butler had given Doncaster the lead just before the hour when his header went in off the underside of the bar but they were denied a crucial three points when Eoin Doyle steered the ball home with just two minutes remaining on the clock.
Doncaster have now conceded six goals in the final moments of games this season, costing them nine points and the draw leaves them just three points above the relegation places.
