Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson felt there were lots of positives to take from their FA Cup win at Ebbsfleet United.
Doncaster fought back from the shock of going two-goals down inside the final ten minutes of the first half to hit back with six goals of their own to book their place in the second round.
“Lots of positives to take out of it,” Ferguson told BBC Radio Sheffield.
“I always felt had we gone in at half time two goals behind our quality would pull us through and that is what happened in the end.
“The two goals before half time were very important.
“All in all, I am delighted.”
Danny Kedwell had fired the non-league side ahead from the penalty spot and Luke Coulson doubled the lead two minutes later to set up the possibility of a cup shock but Doncaster levelled before the break with two goals in first half injury time.
Tommy Rowe gave Doncaster a lifeline and then John Marquis levelled.
Doncaster never looked back after the break with James Coppinger scoring twice, Jordan Houghton scoring his first goal of the season and Rowe completed the turnaround with his second goal of the game.
Doncaster will now look forward to the second round draw on Monday evening.
