Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson says he is confident of extending the loan deals of Rodney Kongolo (Manchester City) and Ben Whiteman (Sheffield United).
The pair on loan at the Keepmoat until January and Ferguson is looking to sort out new deals for the pair before the transfer window reopens in January.
“I would imagine in the next ten to 14 days that we would have more of an answer on those,” Ferguson told BBC Radio Sheffield. .
“In terms of moving forward and where we are, I want to keep them if we can.
“It`ll probably be in the next couple of weeks when we know more. Certainly with Whiteman and Kongolo, we`re confident.”
Kongolo has made 24 appearances so far for Doncaster and he scored his only goal in the 3-2 win at Bradford City in the Carabao Cup back in August.
Whiteman has also made 24 appearances for Doncaster and he has already chipped in with five goals from midfield including a hat-trick in the win against Southend United in October.
Harry Toffolo and Jordan Houghton are also due to return to their parent clubs in January.
