Reports suggest that Doncaster Rovers have signed experienced defender Andy Griffin on a non-contract basis.

The 33 year old has been without a club since being released by Reading at the end of last season.

Griffin has made over 300 career appearances with Stoke City, Portsmouth, Newcastle United, Derby County and Reading.

He made just nine appearances for Reading last season before being released at the end of his current contract in June.

Griffin will be available for Rovers when they travel to Tranmere Rovers on Tuesday night.
