Doncaster Rovers defender Jos Van Nieuwstadt is hoping to be back in training in the next couple of weeks.

The 29 year old who joined in the summer of 2008 needed a hernia operation after a injury sustained in the pre season game at Barrow.

Speaking on the official website boss Sean O`Driscoll said ‘He’s had his staples out and could start running again this week.
‘I would imagine it would be between a week and two weeks before he resumes training.’
Dutch defender Van Nieuwstadt made seventeen appearances in his first season with the club scoring one goal in the 2-1 defeat at Reading.
