Brian Flynn may make changes for the crucial clash with Swindon Town on Monday.

Midfielder Dean Furman is pushing for a place in the starting eleven after impressing as a second half substitute in the defeat at Coventry City on Friday.

Furman replaced James Husband at half time and he could replace the Rovers youngster in the side.

Midfielders Paul Keegan, Martin Woods and David Syers all remain on the sidelines whilst defender Paul Quinn remains a doubt with the injury that forced him to miss the trip to Coventry.

Swindon look set to be without defender Nathan Thompson who was forced off early in the draw with Oldham Athletic on Friday with an ankle injury.

Tommy Miller could return to the Swindon midfield after being rested on Friday after playing through the pain barrier with an injury in recent weeks.
