Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders could welcome back Billy Paynter to the squad for the home clash with Stevenage this weekend.

Saunders will have to decide whether to make changes to the side that has picked up four points from two away games in the past week.

With games continuing to come thick and fast, Saunders might be tempted to make changes to his very small squad.

Darius Charles missed the midweek win over Walsall after picking up a knock last weekend against Crewe Alexandra.

The defender is likely to come back into the reckoning for this game.

Robbie Rogers and Filipe Morais are both doubts with the hamstring injuries that have kept them out of recent games.

Summer signing Lee Hills is closing in on a return to action. Hills signed from Crystal Palace in the summer and he is still to make his debut for Stevenage after suffering a thigh injury.
