Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders is hoping that influential defender Rob Jones will be fit for the home game with Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

Jones was forced off at half time in midweek with concussion just two weeks after suffering a head injury that ruled him out for a week.

Jamie McCombe and Kyle Bennett are moving closer to a return to first team football but will not be ready for this weekend.

Paul Quinn and Sam Clingan are also expected to miss out through injury.

Scunthorpe will add Blackpool striker Adda Djeziri to their squad having signed on loan for the club on Thursday.

Paul Reid will be missing for the visitors as he serves the second of a three-match suspension for his sending off against Notts County last weekend.

David Mirfin and Michael Collins both remain on the sidelines through injury.
