Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders will be without Iain Hume for the game with Preston North End on Tuesday night.

The striker scored his first goal at the weekend for Rovers in the win at Leyton Orient but the on loan striker from Preston is ineligible to play against his parent club.

Billy Paynter could replace him in attack after coming back into the squad at the weekend after missing the four previous games with a calf injury.

Midfielders Paul Keegan and Martin Woods were on the bench at the weekend after picking up knocks the previous week.

Keith Keane will be missing for Preston after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season at the weekend.

Lee Holmes and Lee Trundle remain on the sidelines for Preston through injury.
