Sean O`Driscoll could give a start to James O`Connor after the defender returned to training last week after a long term lay off.

O`Connor may be called upon after defender Joseph Mills was forced off early in Saturday`s game with a hamstring injury.

Rovers will still be without the injured Billy Sharp, Adam Lockwood, James Chambers and Martin Woods.

Preston have been boosted by the loan extension of goalkeeper Iain Turner from Everton.

Chris Brown could also be added to the squad after recovering from injury.

Preston are still without David Gray, Sean St Ledger, Conor McLaughlin and Leon Cort through injury.
