Vital Doncaster looks at the form of both Doncaster Rovers and Notts County ahead of the FA Cup third round clash at the Keepmoat this weekend.


Doncaster

Rovers come into the game on the back of a 2-0 win over Barnsley at home on Monday.

They have now won their last three games at home against Southampton 1-0, Leicester City 2-1 and Barnsley 2-0.

So far this season at home, Rovers have won four, drawn four and lost four.

In the competition last season, Rovers went out in a 3rd round replay, 5-0 at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Rovers are currently 23rd in the championship with 22 points from 25 games.

Notts County
The Magpies come into the game having held promotion chasing Huddersfield Town to a 2-2 draw at Meadow Lane on Monday.

In their last away game, they were beaten 3-2 at Oldham Athletic and they have now lost their last three on the road.

So far this season away from home, County have won three, drawn two and lost eight.

So far in the competition this season, they have beaten League Two side Accrington Stanley 4-1 at home and non-league Sutton United 2-0 away.

The win at Sutton is there only away win in their last seven on the road.

Last season they enjoyed their moment in the spotlight. They beat Premier League side Sunderland 2-1 at home in the third round before losing to eventual winners of the FA Cup Manchester City in a replay in round four.

County are currently eleventh in League One with 32 points from 24 games.
