Vital Doncaster looks at the head-to-head record between Doncaster and Leicester at both Belle Vue and the Keepmoat over the years.
Despite both clubs long histories this will be only sixteenth clash between the two sides.
In the previous fifteen games, Doncaster have won five, Leicester three and there have been seven draws.
The first time the two met was during the 1901/02 season when Leicester were known as Leicester Fosse. Doncaster earned the points with a 2-1 win in a Second Division encounter.
Leicester had to wait until their tenth visit to Belle Vue before enjoying their first victory, when they won a Second Division clash 2-0 in February1954.
Rovers gained revenge in the next meeting when they recorded their biggest win with a 6-2 victory in September 1955.
The last time they met was in the 2011/12 season when a double by Billy Sharp was enough to earn Rovers the three points.
