Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders has no fresh injury worries ahead of the home clash with Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday night.

Saunders is hoping that Kyle Bennett will have recovered in time from a knee injury that ruled him out of the win over Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday.

Defender Shelton Martis is also closing in on a return after missing the past few games through injury.

Paul Quinn and James Harper will be pushing for a recall to the starting eleven after being rested at the weekend.

The game is expected to have come too soon for David Cotterill, who is hoping to return by the weekend.

Jamie McCombe remains on the sidelines with a back injury.

Crewe boss Steve Davis is sweating on the fitness of three players who came off in the win over Wycombe Wanderers at the weekend.

Abdul Osman, Michael West and Luke Murphy are all expected to face late fitness tests ahead of the game.

Crewe will welcome new loan signing Lauri Dalla Valle to the squad. The Finnish striker has signed from Fulham on a one-month loan deal.

Davis will still definitely be without Max, Clayton, AJ Leitch-Smith and Ryan Colclough through injury.
