Doncaster Rovers enjoyed a good run out at local non-league side Rossington Main in their opening pre-season game of the summer.
Doncaster ran out 4-0 winners thanks to two-goals in each half.
It was a chance for the travelling Doncaster fans to see a number of the nine new signings this summer and there was also a surprise appearance from former favourite Paul Green, who is without a club following his release by Rotherham United at the end of last season.
Doncaster went ahead on 15 minutes when James Coppinger fired home a free-kick.
The lead was doubled eight minutes later when youngster Will Longbottom fired home from the edge of the area from a Coppinger corner.
Doncaster went into the break two goals to the good and Darren Ferguson made ten substitutes at half time.
It took just two minutes of the restart for Tommy Rowe to continue where he finished off last season. Rowe joined the club on a permanent basis in the summer after a successful loan spell towards the end of last season and he fired home to make it 3-0.
Last season`s top goalscorer Andy Williams made it 4-0 with just five minutes remaining to wrap up a comfortable win.
