Doncaster Rovers striker Andy Williams looks set to sit out the weekend clash with Southend United.

Williams came into the starting line-up for the midweek Checkatrade Trophy clash against Sunderland but he was forced off at half time with a groin injury.

Doncaster goalkeeper Ian Lawlor looks set to miss out once again through injury with Marko Marosi continuing to deputise.

Captain James Coppinger is expected to come back into the starting line-up after being rested at Bradford City last weekend.

Ross Etheridge, Danny Andrew, Mathieu Baudry, Luke McCullough and Alex Kiwomya all remain long-term absentees for Doncaster.

Southend will be missing Jason Demetriou. The defender is away on international duty.

Michael Kightly, Michael Turner, Rob Kierman and Ben Coker all remain on the sidelines for Southend.
