Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson will rotate his squad for the clash with Scunthorpe United in the Checkatrade Trophy.

With both teams having already qualified for the knockout stages, both teams are expected to make a host of changes.

Mark Marosi, Tyler Garratt, Issam Ben Khemis, Liam Mandeville, Alfie Beestin and Andy Williams are all pushing for a start for Doncaster.

Ross Etheridge, Luke McCullough, Danny Andrew, Alfie May and Alex Kiwomya all remain sidelined for Doncaster.

Scunthorpe are also expected to include a number of fringe players in their side with New Zealand international Clayton Lewis expected to make his first start for the club.

Neal Bishop is not expected to be involved after picking up an injury in the win at Oldham Athletic at the weekend.
