Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson could once again rotate his squad for the clash with Rochdale on Friday night.

Craig Alcock, Joe Wright, Alfie Beestin and Jordan Houghton will all be pushing for a recall after being named amongst the substitutes in the 3-0 win against Northampton Town on Boxing Day.

Matty Blair will also be pushing for a start having come off the bench against Northampton after being sidelined through injury.

Ferguson is still without Ross Etheridge, Danny Andrew, Luke McCullough, Andy Williams and Alex Kiwomya through long-term injuries.

Rochdale have had an illness running through the camp. Calvin Andrews, Joe Rafferty and Jim McNulty all missed the Boxing Day defeat at Blackburn Rovers through either illness or injury and they will be assessed ahead of the trip to the Keepmoat.
