Doncaster Rovers have a striker crisis for the home clash with Portsmouth on Tuesday evening.

Alfie May picked up a groin injury in the defeat at Charlton Athletic on Saturday and he is out for two months. John Marquis picked up his fifth yellow card of the season and he will pick up an automatic one-match suspension.

Andy Williams is not expected to return before the weekend after picking up an injury in the recent Checkatrade Trophy clash with Sunderland and Alex Kiwomya is still to kick a football for Doncaster following his arrival from Chelsea in the summer.

James Coppinger is also a major doubt after picking up a calf injury at Charlton, leaving just Liam Mandeville as the only fit striker.

Ross Etheridge, Luke McCullough and Danny Andrew all remain long-term absentees.

Portsmouth are set to welcome Connor Chaplin back into the squad after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Drew Talbot will be missing for Portsmouth after suffering a groin injury.
