Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dickov as a nice selection headache ahead of the first home game of the season against Port Vale on Saturday.
Dickov made five changes in midweek from the one that won 3-0 at Yeovil Town on Saturday as Rovers made it back-to-back wins with a 1-0 League Cup win at York City.
Jamie McCombe made his first start in midweek for sixteen months and despite suffering from a couple of knocks, including a broken nose, the big centre back says he is ready to continue if called upon.
Influential captain Rob Jones is likely to return to the starting line-up after being a late substitution in midweek and fellow defender Reece Wabara is back in contention after sitting out the York game after picking up a knock at Yeovil.
Harry Forrester, Paul Keegan and Nathan Tyson are all pushing for a recall to the starting line-up as Dickov can pick from a fully fit squad.
Midfielder Michael O`Connor is a doubt for Port Vale after picking up a groin strain in their 6-2 midweek win over Hartlepool United.
Richard Duffy is expected to return to the starting line-up after he sat out the win in midweek. The defender suffered an ankle injury in pre-season and he only returned to the side on the eve of the first game of the season against Walsall.
Colin Daniel is also back in contention after returning to full training this week after missing the first two games of the season.
