Brian Stock who had to pull out of Wales midweek friendly against Georgia has been included in their 24 man squad for their first two World cup qualifiers for 2010 against Azerbaijan and Russia.
They firstly play Azerbaijan at the millennium stadium on the 6th September and travel to play Russia on the 10th September.

The Rovers captain who has also previously been included in the squad to face Luxembourg has yet to make a senior appearance.

Also called up today is Richard Caine who`s been included in the welsh under 16`s squad that`s participating in a tri nations tournament in Belfast next week.

The young midfielder got picked for a couple of games against Slovakia when they lost both games last April.

Paul Wilson director of the Rovers centre of excellence spoke to the official website and said “The lad is delighted to have the chance to once again represent his country”
