Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dickov says his team were fantastic after defeating big spending Queens Park Rangers at the Keepmoat.

Speaking on Radio Sheffield, Dickov said, “We were fantastic. We were disappointed with the performance on Tuesday night at Charlton.

“We asked the players to go out and show pride in their performance, show desire to be at the club and show desire for the fans, and they did that.”

Rovers bounced back from going a goal behind just before half time when Charlie Austin opened the scoring for Rangers.

An early second half strike from Theo Robinson brought Rovers level and a rare goal from Paul Quinn won the game in the final minute.

The win for Rovers moves them seven points clear of the relegation places.
