Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dickov says he is looking to add to his squad before the transfer window closes a week today.

Doncaster have drawn three and lost one of their first four league games and a wafer thin squad is already being stretched with four experienced players ruled out through injury.

Dickov is not confident of adding to the squad before the weekend and he admits he will be looking to use the loan market to add to his squad.

“We are still looking but there is nothing imminent at the minute,” Dickov told BBC Radio Sheffield.

“It is difficult at this stage to get players we would like at the club. There are things ongoing and nothing will be done before the Ipswich game on Tuesday night and possibly not before the weekend.

“It will be loan players.”

Whilst the summer transfer window closes on Tuesday September 2nd the loan window will reopen a week later.
