Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dickov was delighted to see his side pick up their first three points of the season.
Doncaster beat inform Fleetwood Town 2-0 at the Keepmoat thanks to goals from James Coppinger and Curtis Main as they bounced back from their 3-0 defeat at Port Vale last weekend.
“I thought we played really well in the first half,” Dickov told BBC Radio Sheffield.
“I am delighted with the three points especially after last week. We have had seven games and over the course of 90 minutes, we have lost just once, so we have something to build on.”
Coppinger opened the scoring for Doncaster on 17 minutes when he glanced home a header following a free-kick and Main doubled the lead soon afterwards when he was on hand to score after good work from Coppinger and Andy Williams.
