Doncaster Rovers have a number of players still struggling with injuries ahead of their game at Derby County on Boxing Day.

Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll indicated during an interview on Radio Sheffield on Thursday night that a number of players are struggling with a virus.

Defenders, James O`Connor, James Chambers, Wayne Thomas, George Friend and Mustapha Dumbuya are all out through injury.

Long term injured Simon Gillett also remains on the sidelines.

Defender Joseph Mills returned after a month out when he came off the bench against Middlesbrough last week and will be hoping to start.

Derby will definitely be without Robbie Savage who is suspended for the game after collecting five yellow cards this season.

Dean Leacock is struggling to shake of an injury picked up against Reading last week and is a doubt.

Russell Anderson (hamstring) is out as is former Rovers defender Gareth Roberts with a calf injury.
