Doncaster Rovers midfielder David Cotterill has been named amongst the players on standby for Wales final two World Cup qualifying games this month.
Cotterill is one of thirteen players named on the standby list by manager Chris Coleman, for the game in Cardiff against FYR Macedonia on Friday October 11th and for the trip to Belgium on Tuesday October 15th.

The 25-year-old has won 17-caps for his country since making his debut in 2005 but he hasn`t featured since scoring his first international goal in the 5-1 win over Luxembourg in August 2010.

Despite the squad only being named by Coleman on Wednesday, he has already seen the withdrawal of three midfielders from his squad with Coleman yet to name the replacements.
