Robbie Clark has signed for non-league Brigg Town until the end of the season

Clark has signed until the end of the season after being released by Rovers on Wednesday.

The 19 year old enjoyed a productive loan spell at Brigg last season for the Evo-Stik One South side when he scored nine goals in fourteen appearances.

Brigg manager Steve Housham is delighted to bring in the midfielder to help him further his career, speaking on non-league news, Steve said, “Robbie has been released by Doncaster, so we have moved in to sign him until the end of the season. We know from last year he is an excellent player, and will almost certainly play at a higher level again. I’m hoping this opportunity can be a bit of a ‘shop window’ for Robbie and he can revive his dream of playing professionally again.’

Brigg Town are currently in fourth place in the division after beating second placed Carlton Town on Tuesday night.
