Doncaster Rovers striker Chris Brown is reported to have undergone a medical at Blackburn Rovers on Friday.

The clubs player of the year is ready to activate a clause in his contract that allows him to leave Doncaster following their relegation from the championship on the final day of last season.

The 29-year-old who was also Doncaster`s leading goalscorer last season with 9 goals will join Blackburn on a free transfer and he will be the second Doncaster player to activate the release clause in his contract after Mark Duffy joined Birmingham City.
