Vital Doncaster looks at the head to head record between Bristol City and Doncaster Rovers at Ashton Gate through the years.

The two sides have met on 18 occasions at Bristol with the home side winning 12, Doncaster 2 and 4 draws.

The first encounter took place in the 1901/02 season when Bristol City won 3-0.

Rovers have only ever kept one clean sheet at Ashton Gate during the 2005/06 season when it finished 0-0.

The last time the two sides met at Ashton Gate, two goals apiece from Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Billy Sharp helped Rovers to a 5-2 win, with the other goal coming courtesy of a Bradley Orr own goal.
