Doncaster Rovers will start the season the same way they finished the last, with a whole host of players on the sidelines.

Rovers were plagued with injuries in the second half of last season and have eight players on the sidelines for the opening day game at Brighton and Hove Albion.

Brian Stock, Adam Lockwood, James Chambers, Shelton Martis, James O`Connor, Paul Keegan, Martin Woods and Mark Wilson are all on the sidelines through injury.

Better news for O`Driscoll is the addition of nine players during the summer. Richard Naylor, James Baxendale, Ryan Mason, Kyle Bennett, Giles Barnes, Rachid Bouhenna, Tommy Spurr, Oscar Radford and Chris Brown will all be in the squad.

Brighton will be without Tommy Elphick and Adam El-Abd through injury.

The Seagulls have also been busy in the transfer market during the summer.

Daniel East, Ben Sampayo, Romain Vincelot, Will Buckley, Anton Rogers, Will Hoskins, Roland Bergkamp and Craig Mackail-Smith have all joined Gus Poyet`s side and will be included in the squad.
