Boss Sean O`Driscoll reflected on Saturday`s defeat against Birmingham City and took a lot of positives from the game.

Birmingham were reduced to ten men after only a quarter of the game when Nafti was sent off for a terrible lunge on Rovers James Coppinger. O`Driscoll speaking to Rovers world said “The sending off had little bearing on the result”

Rovers conceded the only goal of the game in the opening minute of the second half and the boss commented ‘When you lose against 10 men you have to give credit to the opposition – to be fair to them they worked hard but, for me, the sending-off didn’t change the game”
He was particularly pleased with how we continue to play attractive football and cause the opposition problems ‘I can’t fault the effort of the players;
overall, I thought the performance was excellent. We came here to perform and I think we did.’
Darren Byfield had Rovers best effort of the game when producing a stunning save from Maik Taylor from 25 yards.
