Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson will assess his squad ahead of the trip to Blackburn Rovers.

Ferguson is expected to recall James Coppinger for the game after he was rested against Bradford City in midweek.

Liam Mandeville missed the Bradford game with a calf injury, Matty Blair due to personal reasons and Andy Williams with a hamstring injury but the trio are all expected to return.

Doncaster have now received international clearance for Issam Ben Khemis and he is in line to made his debut for the club.

On loan midfielder Rodney Kongolo is pushing for a league start after impressing in the cup win at Bradford.

Ross Etheridge, Alex Kiwomya, Luke McCullough and Mathieu Baudry all remain sidelined with long-term injuries.

Blackburn are once again expected to be without Darragh Lenihan who suffered a foot injury at Southend United last weekend.

Charlie Mulgrew, Bradley Dack and Chris Conway are both in contention after overcoming injuries in the first week of the season.
