Released Doncaster Rovers midfielder Giles Barnes is having trials with Greek side PAOK.

The Greek Super League side finished last season in third place and are currently on tour in Holland and Barnes will spend the next ten days on trial with them.

The 24-year-old spent last season with Rovers, where he made 35 appearances for the club.

Rovers released Barnes at the end of last season as they look to reduce their wage bill over the summer.

Sam Hird, James Hayter, Adam Lockwood and Oscar Radford have already found new clubs after being released by Rovers at the end of last season.
