Doncaster Rovers and AFC Wimbledon played out a goalless draw at the Keepmoat Stadium in their penultimate games of the season.

AFC Wimbledon will be much the happier with the point as it guaranteed their survival in League One.

Whilst Doncaster had little to play for having had their safety in League One confirmed at the weekend, AFC Wimbledon looked content in earning the point they required to confirm their safety.

John Marquis and Ben Whiteman had the two only notable efforts on target for Doncaster.

AFC Wimbledon rarely threatened Ian Lawlor in the Doncaster goal with the visitors having just two shots on target.

Doncaster have now gone over four games and 385 minutes since their last goal in League One.

The draw also means Doncaster have now gone five games without a win and they can now only finish in the bottom half of the League One table although they are the only team outside of the top eight in the division to have a positive goal difference.

Doncaster welcome title-chasing Wigan Athletic to the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday for the final game of the season.
