Doncaster Rovers were without a game this weekend with Dean Furman, Luke McCullough and Marko Marosi away on international duty and Vital Doncaster has checked out how they did.

Dean Furman once again played a leading role for South Africa as they went to the top of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying group with a 2-0 win at Congo Brazzaville.

Furman started for Africa and it was his delightful through ball that ensured victory as Tokelo Rantie scored their second goal in the space of three minutes early in the second half.

South Africa are back in action on Wednesday when they welcome Rwanda.

Luke McCullough was a second half substitute for Northern Ireland as they continued their good start in the Euro 2016 qualifying group.

McCullough came off the bench after 56 minutes has Northern Ireland beat Faroe Islands 2-0 to sit at the top of their group after two games.

Northern Ireland now travel to Greece on Tuesday night.

Young goalkeeper Marko Marosi is away with the Slovakian under-21 squad, for their two-legged play-off against Italy for qualification for the European Championship finals in 2015.

Marosi was not part of the 18-man squad named for the game as they drew their home leg 1-1 and they now travel to Italy for the return leg on Tuesday.
