Doncaster Rovers went down to a 1-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday as they remain in trouble in the championship.

Blackburn won the game on the stroke of half time when Rudy Gestede headed home at the far post for the home side.

Doncaster were much improved in the second half and Alex Peterson came closest to equalising when his point blank header was superbly kept out by former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson.
