Doncaster Rovers are hoping to get busy in the transfer market this week.
Rovers have yet to make a signing this summer after the failed takeover scuppered their plans of holding onto a number of players out of contract as well as a number of trialists.
Boss Paul Dickov is hoping to finally move into the transfer market this week with much depending on the sale of young defender James Husband to Middlesbrough.
Husband is expected to complete a £500,000 deal with the Riverside club that will free up funds for Dickov.
The Husband deal could also see Middlesbrough striker Curtis Main join Rovers. Dickov is now also hopeful of retaining James Coppinger who is out of contract. Coppinger looked set to leave this club after not being offered a new deal by the current owners but it looks like there is a chance he could stay at the Keepmoat.
Rovers are without a goalkeeper since the departure of Ross Turnbull and Jonathan Maxted this summer and trialist Ben Williams could be set to sign after spending the summer with the club.
Defender Cedric Evina and Nathan Tyson could also complete moves to the Keepmoat this week after successful trials with the club.
Evina started his career with Arsenal and he has had spells with Oldham Athletic and Charlton Athletic.
Tyson will bring a wealth of experience to the Keepmoat having made over 400 appearances during his career that has seen him have spells with Reading, Cheltenham Town, Wycombe Wanderers, Swansea City, Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Millwall, Notts County, Fleetwood Town and Blackpool.
No deals for players arriving at the club are expected to be announced until the James Husband deal is completed.
